General DIY kit and device troubleshooting -
My new audio components won't power up or other standard vehicle components aren't powering up.
Fix #1: Check all of the vehicles factory fuses and any added fuses.
Fix #2: If your new components were a DIY installation, check and recheck all plug and play clip connections to make sure they are secure.
My Bluetooth connection is unstable or won't pair.
Fix #1: Check your phone for manufacturer software and firmware updates
Fix #2: Unpair the Bluetooth device in the phone settings. Restart the phone and repair the Bluetooth as per the Bluetooth device user manual.
Troubleshooting WIN CE devices -
My radio stations jump or auto scan intermittently.
Fix #1: Use the reset button to initiate a full reset procedure
My Bluetooth connection with my WIN CE head unit is unstable or won't pair.
Fix #1: Check your phone for manufacturer software and firmware updates
Fix #2: Unpair the Bluetooth device in the phone settings. Restart the phone and repair the Bluetooth as per the Bluetooth device user manual.
My WIN CE device has errors during navigation.
Fix #1: Open navigation settings, select 'Reset to Defaults'. Run the configuration wizard.
Fix #2: Return the navigation SD card to Universalfuze for exchange with a new card

Troubleshooting Android Multimedia devices -
My Android multimedia unit freezes or restarts
Fix #1: Unit is overheating. Keep dash shaded when parked to lower operating temperatures.
Fix #2: Unit has run short on free memory. Delete unnecessary and un used apps and/or expand memory with addition SD card storage.
My Android multimedia system performs a 'fatal error'
Fix #1: Unit is overheating. Keep dash shaded when parked to lower operating temperatures.
Fix #2: Clear device memory and reset to defaults.
My Android multimedia system is running slow
Fix #1: Unit has run short on free memory. Delete unnecessary and un used apps and/or expand memory with addition SD card storage.
Troubleshooting roof mount DVD players -
My Roofmount DVD player/screen does not power up
Fix #1: Check all of the vehicles factory fuses
The cabin illumination lights on my Roofmount DVD player/screen stay on
Fix #1: Check the manual light switch on the Roofmount DVD player/screen is set to the OFF or AUTO position.
Fix #2: If the manual light switch is set to AUTO, check all doors are firmly closed.
